How this tool works

Round up (guests × percentage using the bar) ÷ guests per bartender. The default ratio of 50 is a planning example, not a staffing standard. Include anyone ordering mocktails or soft drinks in the bar-use percentage.

What changes the number of bartenders?

Cocktails, separate bar locations, glassware handling, and a short cocktail-hour rush can all need more staff. This estimates bartenders on duty at once, not total staff hours; confirm the plan with your bar provider.

Take the list to your bar team.

A vendor can tailor these quantities to your guests, venue, and service style.
